A total of 52,334 acres of rain-fed paddy have been successfully cultivated across 224 paddy fields in 12 administrative units in Kyaukse Township, Mandalay Region, according to the Township Land Records Department.
The breakdown of cultivated acreage by administrative unit is as follows: Unit 1: 2,240 acres, Unit 2: 5,268 acres, Unit 3: 5,125 acres, Unit 4: 4,468 acres, Unit 5: 5,970 acres, Unit 6: 3,914 acres, Unit 7: 247 acres, Unit 8: 5,984 acres, Unit 9: 4,233 acres, Unit 10: 5,012 acres, Unit 11: 4,688 acres, Unit 12: 5,185 acres.
The primary varieties of paddy planted for the monsoon season include Ayeya Min, Manaw Thu Kha, Shwe Manaw, Aung Naing Toe, GW-11, and GW-18.
