            A total of 13,896 acres of winter peanut will be cultivated in Kyunhla Township, according to the Township Department of Agriculture.

            “In the township, different varieties of oilseed are being cultivated particularly monsoon and winter peanut. This winter season, a total of 13,896 acres of peanut will be planted and farmers now began their cultivation”, said an official from the Township Department of Agriculture.

            With the aim of selecting high-quality seeds and planting with systematic agricultural methods, officials from the Township Department of Agriculture conduct demonstration and awareness campaign in the township.
