The Lashio District Information and Public Relations Department and the District Election Commission jointly organized a talk show yesterday to raise public awareness about the Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine (MEVM), which will be used in the 2025 multi-party democratic general election.

At the event, officials explained the development, operation, and security features of the MEVM, as well as its advantages in ensuring accurate and efficient voting.

The talk show, held at the Community Centre of the Information and Public Relations Department, will also be broadcast online for wider public access.— District IPRD
