MFF Amateur League concludes with rise of two local champions

THE Myanmar Football Federation’sAmateur League concluded with victories for two teams — the Mon F.C. in the Yangon Region competition zone and the Kyel Sin Su F.C. in the Mandalay Region competition zone.

 

In the final match of the Mandalayat the Bahtoo Stadium in Mandalay, Kyel Sin Su won the title by beating the Ayeyarzar team by  3-1.

 

In the Yangon competition, the Mon F.C. was crowned the champion, scoring more points than second-placed New Light F.C.

 

Award-giving ceremonies were held in both cities as part of the conclusion of the MFF Amateur League’s 2018 season.

 

The winning teams were awarded K 3 million each, while the second placed teams received K 2 million, and the third place teams K 1.5 million. Consolation prizes of K 900,000 , K 700,000, K 500,000, and K 300,000 were also given based upon the teams’ ranks in both cities.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
