THE Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) says Myanmar’s first-ever AFC Pro Licence coaching course, aiming to facilitate the development of My­anmar’s football and encourage inter­national-level professional coaches to emerge.

 

Coaches from the Asia Football Confederation (AFC) and MFF will lead the AFC/MFF Pro Diploma coaching course 2026, which has been planned to open in March 2026. Module 1 will begin from 9 to 17 March, said MFF.

 

 

Those meet following requirements are eligible to apply the course; have AFC A license or AFC/MFF A certifi­cate, have at least two years coaching experience, qualified for the pro diplo­ma course and able to play as a leader at MFF and MNL, have currently served at national teams and MNL clubs, must be registered coach, have good physical and metal health, able to do practical and theoretical trainings, must be un­der 55 years, have basic English 4 skills, able to participate actively throughout the course and have knowledge on us­ing Powerpoint, Excel and Word with own computer.

 

Trainees are limited to 15, and the fee per module is US$1,000 per citizen and $5,000 for five modules, while the fee per module is $3,200 per foreigner and $16,000 for five modules, and for­eign trainees will have to incur their own travel.

 

Interested applicants can submit applications to coach.education@mff-ma.com by 23 January before 4 pm, and eligible persons will be notified on time, it said. — MT/ZS
