MFF sacks U-22 men’s squad Head Coach U Kyi Lwin

Nay Pyi Taw 16 January

The Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) has expelled U-22 men’s head coach U Kyi Lwin, according to the football manager’s Facebook post.

The agreement with the MFF has extended to the end of the 29th SEA Games but he doesn’t interest in the compensation to be paid by the MFF under the contract. Because he was fired before the deal with the MFF is expired, said U Kyi Lwin.

“I am not interested in the facts from the agreement. Everybody including the MFF President U Zaw Zaw can blame me. Now I joined Myanmar National League club Magway FC. Termination of the contract with U Kyi Lwin will be confirmed by MFF officials during a press conference to be held this evening, said U Phone Naing Zaw, Chief Executive Officer of the MFF.

There are some speculations that the MFF will replace U Kyi Lwin with a foreign coach.—MFF
