SHAN United threshed Thitsar Ar­man FC 4-1 to catch a four-consecutive win of Myanmar National League at the Thuwun­na Youth Training Centre in Yangon yesterday.

 

Defending champion Shan team defeated promoted Thitsar Arman FC by a signifi­cant number of goals and won four consecutive games to start the new season and reached 60 games unbeaten record in the MNL championship since the 2020 season. Shan United's win keeps them two points ahead of their rivals at the top of the table.

 

Shan played with attack­ing style from the start, and Sa Aung Pyae Ko broke the dead­lock in the ninth minute. The Shan United, which scored an early goal, was able to control the game and scored one more goal in the first half and two more goals in the second half.

 

The further winning goals for Shan were scored by Thet Wai Moe at 35th and 73rd minute and Zwe Khant Min at 42nd min­ute. Thitsar Arman’s Min Maw Oo produced lone equalizer at 89th minute.

 

The best player award for this match went to Thet Wai Moe from Shan United. After this match, Shan United team has scored 12 points in four games, and Thitsar Arman team has lost all four games and still has no points.
