THE National ICT Award 2025 (Educational Project and Skills Competition), jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and the Myanmar Computer Feder­ation, was held at Thiri Yadana Hall, No 4 Basic Education High School, Ahlon Township, Yangon Region, on 20 and 21 December.

 

A total of 55 teams, consist­ing of teachers and students from basic education schools and private high schools across the regions and states, partici­pated in the competition at the primary, secondary, higher edu­cation, and teacher/admin staff levels.

 

The National ICT Award 2025 is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Education and the Myanmar Computer Feder­ation. Since 2004, the compe­tition has been held with the aims of promoting the effective use of ICT technologies in the education sector, developing outstanding young Myanmar professionals in the ICT field, enhancing teachers’ proficiency in ICT and supporting the cre­ation of ICT-integrated lessons in teaching and learning, and nurturing professionals capable of competing in international competitions.

 

The Myanmar Computer Federation is organizing com­petitions to support outstanding and talented youths in thinking, technology, and management, and to promote the implemen­tation of the Digital Economy Development, MSMEs, legal in­frastructure, e-Education, and e-Government initiatives.
