Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Mr Deng Xijun, Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they cordially discussed matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing Pauk-Phaw relations, accelerating the mutually beneficial cooperation, the maintenance of peace and stability along the border between Myanmar and China, latest developments on peace and national reconciliation process of Myanmar, China’s continuous constructive support towards Myanmar’s development endeavours as well as closer collaboration both in the regional and international arenas, especially ASEAN and the United Nations. — MNA
