U Than Swe, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received the delegation led by Dr Khalid Bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs of the State of Qatar, yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw.
They discussed potential areas for cooperation in Myanmar’s agriculture, healthcare, technology, energy and mining sectors, as well as investment opportunities in Myanmar for Qatari companies.
Also present at the meeting were senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. — MNA
