UNION Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win received Mr Arnaud Deneufbourg, Resident Representative of the Interna­tional Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), at the guest hall of the Ministry of Health yester­day morning.

They discussed matters re­lating to the humanitarian assis­tance being carried out by ICRC, joint healthcare activities cur­rently being undertaken between the Ministry of Health and ICRC, cooperation between ICRC and the Myanmar Red Cross Society in rehabilitation efforts follow­ing the recent major earthquake in Mandalay, as well as ICRC’s planned activities in Myanmar for 2025.

Also, at the meeting were the deputy minister for health and senior officials, as well as ICRC representatives. – MNA/ KZL
