UNION Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win met Mr Sanjay Mathur, Director of the Asian Regional Office of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) based in Bangkok, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
They discussed the ongoing healthcare services between the ministry and UNOPS, healthcare activities being conducted in collaboration with the Global Fund and Access to Health Fund, the efforts to ensure no shortage of medicines for tuberculosis, HIV/ AIDS, and malaria prevention and treatment and further cooperation.
Also present at the meeting were directors-general and relevant officials of the Ministry of Health, and the resident representative and officials of UNOPS in Yangon. — MNA/KTZH
