THE public awareness campaign for the 2025 multiparty demo­cratic election was organized at Naypyitaw State Academy and Naypyitaw State Polytechnic University yesterday.

 

During the campaign at the Naypyitaw State Academy, Un­ion Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn distributed the pamphlets that carry elec­toral mottos to the students and attendees.

 

Speaking at the event, the Union minister stated the in­tention of the campaign and stated that the 2025 multiparty democratic election, which will be held soon, is also relevant to students. Every citizen who has reached 18 years of age should vote in the upcoming election and has the responsibility to do so. Therefore, as educated young people, he strongly urged them to thoughtfully consider with their knowledge when casting their vote, and to choose wisely.

 

The Union minister and par­ty drew lots for 15 MRTV DTH receivers and 10 DVB-T2 set-top boxes and presented them to the winners.

 

At noon, the Union minister attended the campaign at Naypy­itaw State Polytechnic University.

 

The Union minister made a remark and drew lots for 30 MRTV DTH receivers and 20 DVB-T2 set-top boxes, and pre­sented them to the winners.

 

After the ceremonial proce­dures and entertainment pro­grammes, the electoral pam­phlets were distributed to the students and attendees.

 

The Ministry of Information initiates an awareness campaign nationwide for the 2025 multi­party democratic election by cooperating with the Nay Pyi Taw Council, region and state governments, aiming at creat­ing a better future through the election. — MNA/KTZH
