UNION Minister for Transport and Communications U Mya Tun Oo inspected the location for Railway Station Hotel and supermarket construction, football stadium construction site near PyinOoLwin railway station, Yadanabon Cyber City buildings and housing of Ya­danabon Myothit project, road expansion and maintenance in wards 8 and 10 in Padaytha Myo­thit, and National Kandawgyi Gardens yesterday.

 

On arrival at the location for the three-star Railway Station Hotel and supermarket project, the Union Minister instructed officials to construct using a Pile Foundation to withstand the earthquake, as the building is a four-storey building, create a conceptual plan with proper architectural design that goes well with the design of PyinOoL­win railway station and to cre­ate systematic landscaping and drainage system.

 

He also stated the need to provide a suitable facility, design and market for being three-star hotel, and proceeded to the loca­tion where the football stadium will be constructed between Py­inOoLwin Railway Yeiktha and the locomotive factory, and Ya­danabon Myothit project sites.

 

He proceeded to Ward 8 in Padaytha Myothit and observed the road paving processes, and inspected along Nawarat, Theingi, Yadana and Pyithaya streets.

 

He also inspected the fencing and painting process­es along the entrance to the National Kandawgyi Gardens in Ward 6, and implementation works being carried out in ac­cordance with the directive of the Head of State during his visit to the park, and cordially greeted the visitors to the flower festival. — MNA/KTZH
