MYANMAR Pharmaceuti­cal and Medical Equipment Entrepreneurs’ Association (MPMEEA) will sell hard-to-find pharmaceuticals for the second time in Pyinmana, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, from 27 to 31 January, according to distribution prices of the companies.

 

“The companies started to sell hard-to-find medicines at Myanmar Trade Promo­tion Organization’s office in Yangon on Merchant Road in Pabedan Township, Yangon, on 17 July. The sales will ex­pand to a place located in the compound of Nawade Cinema in Mayangon Township, Yan­gon, and the sales centre on the first floor of the Thiri Oat­tha Market in Bago Region on 29 July. The pharma sales in Pyinmana happened on 12-17 August 2024. It is the second time for the pharma fair in Pyinmana, at the distribution price of the companies on 27- 31 January. Individuals can buy hard-to-find medicines according to patient records and old blister packs, bottles, sachets, etc,” said Dr Win Maw Phyo.

 

About 70 pharma-import­ing companies will participate in this fair. The association stated that they are planning to expand the sales in more regions and states.

 

Drugs for chronic dis­eases, common diseases and conditions including medicines for patients with hypertension, heart failure, kidney failure, di­abetes, cancer, antibiotics, pro­biotics and other bone growth stimulators are available at a pharma fair. — ASH/KK
