The Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) and the German Red Cross (GRC) jointly launched a Road Safety Education (ToT) training course on 14 August at the Yangon International Hotel in Dagon Township, Yangon Region, which lasted for two days from 14 to 15 August, according to the Myanmar Red Cross Society.
A total of 32 Red Cross volunteers from various townships in Yangon Region attended the training, the opening ceremony of which was graced by MRCS President Dr Myo Nyunt, together with officials from the Yangon Region Red Cross Supervisory Committee, U Htein Lin, Commander of the Yangon Region Red Cross Brigade, Ms Celine Charbel from the German Red Cross Society, directors and officials, representatives of No 43 Traffic Police Task Force in Dagon Township, and trainees. — ASH/TH
