MYANMAR Red Cross Societies (MRCS) and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) worked together to deliver Information Management in Disaster Response Training from 26 to 28 August 2025, according to MRCS.
A total of 22 Red Cross volunteers from Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay and Bago regions and Mon and Kayin states attended the training. This training is to use technology for disaster management and hazard mapping, and real-time data and monitoring.
MRCS President Dr Myo Nyunt and IFRC NSD Delegate Ms Laura gave the opening remarks at the opening ceremony of the Information Management in Disaster Response Training held at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Pabedan Township. — ASH/KK
