NATIONAL Defence and Secu­rity Council Executive Chief U Aung Lin Dwe received a delega­tion led by Ms Anna Sergeyevna Vinnikova, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economic Develop­ment of the Novosibirsk of the Russian Federation, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the enhancement of cooperation in trade and invest­ment, industry, tourism, educa­tion, healthcare and cultural sec­tors of Myanmar and Novosibirsk.

Also present at the meeting were Union Minister U Tin Oo Lwin, Deputy Ministers U Ko Ko Kyaw and U Min Min, whereas the Russian Deputy Minister was accompanied by the relevant Russian officials of the Cultural Ministry, Novosibirsk Administra­tive Office and the Government of Novosibirsk Region. — MNA/ KTZH
