DEPUTY Ministers of the min­istries concerned received the Russian delegation led by Ms Anna Sergeyevna Vinnikova, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Novosibirsk of the Russian Federation, in Nay Pyi Taw yes­terday.

They openly exchanged views on bilateral coopera­tion on religious and cultural affairs, tourism industry and also in various sectors, includ­ing education, healthcare and farming industry, enhancement of bilateral trade and expansion of the Myanmar-Novosibirsk flight.

Also, present at the meet­ing were Deputy Ministers for Religious Affairs and Cul­ture Daw Nu Mra Zan and U Aye Tun, Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Tin Htut, Dep­uty Minister for Commerce U Min Min, Deputy Minister for Education U Nay Myo Hlaing, Deputy Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Phyo Zaw Soe and other relevant officials.

The Russian delegation visited the Maravijaya Buddha Image on the same evening. — MNA/KTZH
