THE 10-Year Cooperation Ceremony for China-Myanmar Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Development was held at the Grand Amara Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Min Thu highlighted the achievement of positive outcomes in China-Myanmar biodiversity conservation and continuous efforts to ensure the sustainability of resources and develop the research processes in future.
Then, the director-general of the Forest Department, officials of the Chinese Academy of Science, and project officials briefed the constructive results of the 10-year cooperation and progress in work procedures.
The event was attended by the minister-counsellor of the Chinese Embassy, CAS professors and students, and senior officials of the ministry. — MNA/ KTZH
