MYANMAR’S national dragon boat team is preparing to take part in the 2025 World Dragon Boat Championship scheduled to be held in Chengdu, China, in August.
According to sources, the team is currently undergoing training sessions at the Myanmar Rowing and Canoeing Federation located at Inya Lake in Yangon.
The Myanmar team will compete in the men’s and women’s events over the 200-metre, 500-metre and 2,000-metre distances.
The delegation will comprise six male athletes, six female athletes, one team captain, one manager and two coaches. — Arkar Linn/KZL
