THE Myanmar Fight New Generation traditional Lethwei event took place at 1 pm yesterday at Theinbyu Gymnasium in Yangon, featuring eleven bouts. Organized by the Myanmar Traditional Lethwei Federation of Sports and Physical Education Department and Myanmar Martial Art Group (MMAG), the event showcased intense matchups between skilled fighters.
During the event, Sein Than Oo (Kyayyuwah) defeated Phyo Maung Maung (MFC Club) in the third round. Saw Ruby (YMA Club) beat Khun Min Min (MFC Club) in the second round. Mogyo (Bago Club) claimed a first-round victory over Saw Pide Aung (North Okkala), while Khaung Htet Zaw (STL Club) overcame Pawlu (Phonenix Club) in the second round.
The following bouts ended in draws: Ye Yint (Kyar Bayin) versus Mann Nyi (YFC Club), Naing Zin Oo (Kyar Bayin) versus Shine Htet Oo (Wannion), Nayla (Taw Win Ayeyar) versus Pyae Phyo Aung (Kyar Bayin), Aung Kaung Khant (STL Club) versus Saw Htoo Dael (Phonenix Club), Kyaw Gyi (Taw Win Ayeyar) versus Aung San Lin (Kyayyuwah), Aung Ko Oo (MFC Club) versus Kyar Marn Hein (Smart Fight), and Thet Htar San (Wannion) versus Ray (Do Jo Nine). — Akar Linn/KZL
