DIRECTOR-GENERAL Dr Htein Lin of the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization, met Mr Choi Shinil, chair of Korea-Myanmar Institute for Economic and Security Studies-KM-IESS, on 30 October at the meeting hall of the Myan Trade and discussed bilateral trade, commerce and investment matters.
The meeting highlighted investment opportunities at the Thilawa Special Economic Zone, seeking the potential of Myanmar’s agricultural produce exports to the Republic of Korea, promoting bilateral trade relations and cultural exchange, exploring trade opportunities on the e-Commerce Platform between Myanmar and Korea, and accelerating trade, commerce and investment under the ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Area. — NN/KK
