THE Myanmar Libraries Foundation held its Central Executive Committee meeting and book donation ceremony at the Foundation’s Hall in Yangon at 10 am yesterday.
Foundation Chairman U Nyunt Swe first delivered a speech, followed by donors who explained the purpose of their book donations. Chairman U Nyunt Swe then received the donated books and presented certificates of appreciation to the donors.
At the donation ceremony, Police Lt-Col (Retired) U Thein Htun (writer Sit Ye Eain) donated 200 books worth K1.6 million, and writer Saddhammajotikadhaja Pantaya Mya Kyi donated 50 books worth K750,000.
