THE Myanmar Photographic Society held an award ceremony on 3 September at its office in Kyauktada Township, Yangon, for the Myanmar-Indonesia-South Africa three-nation international photo competition, recognized by FIAP and PSA, alongside the 50th weekly graduation ceremony of its Golden Lens photography course.
At the event, Myanmar Photographic Society Chairman U Than Htun delivered the opening remarks. Patron U Pe Myint, speaking on behalf of the judges, shared his experiences of serving as a judge in the three-nation FIAP and PSA-recognized international competition.
Certificates of appreciation were presented to the judges who assisted in the international contest. In addition, Director Pachi Soe Moe awarded a lifetime academy certificate to U Than Htun in recognition of his role as head judge of the competition.
Top photography awards were presented to U Htin Lin and 20 other winners, who received gold medals in the FIAP, PSA, FPSI, PSSA, and IPC competitions.
Honourable mentions were also awarded in categories including FIAP Honourable Mention, IPC 2025 Honourable Mention, Open Colour, Open Monochrome, Portrait, and Life. The ceremony additionally marked the graduation of students from the 50th weekly Golden Lens photography course. — Arkar Linn/KZL
