THE Myanmar Photographic Society held an award ceremony on 3 September at its office in Kyauktada Township, Yangon, for the My­anmar-Indonesia-South Africa three-nation international photo competition, recognized by FIAP and PSA, alongside the 50th weekly graduation ceremony of its Golden Lens pho­tography course.

 

At the event, Myanmar Photographic So­ciety Chairman U Than Htun delivered the opening remarks. Patron U Pe Myint, speaking on behalf of the judges, shared his experiences of serving as a judge in the three-nation FIAP and PSA-recognized international competition.

 

Certificates of appreciation were presented to the judges who assisted in the international contest. In addition, Director Pachi Soe Moe awarded a lifetime academy certificate to U Than Htun in recognition of his role as head judge of the competition.

 

Top photography awards were presented to U Htin Lin and 20 other winners, who received gold medals in the FIAP, PSA, FPSI, PSSA, and IPC competitions.

 

Honourable mentions were also award­ed in categories including FIAP Honourable Mention, IPC 2025 Honourable Mention, Open Colour, Open Monochrome, Portrait, and Life. The ceremony additionally marked the gradu­ation of students from the 50th weekly Golden Lens photography course. — Arkar Linn/KZL
