Several houses in Ward-1 along Than Hlyet Swan Road, Kya Phyu Road, and Myanandar Road in Botahtaung Township, Yangon Region, were damaged by strong winds on 24 July.

In response, the Myanmar Red Cross Society visited the affected areas on 31 July, and provided assistance to 57 households. The relief items included 49 sets of personal hygiene kits, 98 tarpaulin sheets, and 8 sets of household supplies.— Aung Myint (IPRD)
