Myanmar U-23 men’s football squad comprising 28 tentative players has been camped in Yangon since 4 March for Qualifiers for the AFC U 23 Championship 2020.
Myanmar will be hosting the qualifiers of Group-I of the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship on home soil. Myanmar will play against Japan, Timor-Leste and Macau in a round robin format. The qualifiers will be held at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon from 22 to 26 March. Myanmar U-23 men’s football team will clash with Timor-Leste on 22 March, compete with Macau on 24 March and battle against Japan on 26 March.
The eleventh group winners and four best runners-up will qualify directly for the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship to be held in Thailand. Ticket prices for the qualifiers to be hosted by Myanmar are set at Ks. 1,000 and Ks. 2,000.—By Kyaw Htike Soe
