Norway has reportedly contributed US$500,000 to assist Myanmar’s flood-stricken areas.

According to the Norwegian Embassy, Norway’s UNOPS has provided this sum in collaboration with donors to support the rehabilitation of regions impacted by the floods in Myanmar. The emergency relief supplies include shelter, food, purified water, and medicines, which will be distributed by the Norwegian Red Cross and its partner organizations through the Myanmar Red Cross Society.
