Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the completed concrete road paving project in Kyatkon Village, Kangyidaunt Township, Ayeyarwady Region this morning. The project was carried out under the Village Development Project (VDP).

During the inspection, Daw Thinzar Nyunt, Township Officer of the Rural Development Department, along with members of the Village Development Project Committee, met with village elders and local residents. They discussed the project’s implementation and highlighted the importance of ensuring construction quality and conducting regular maintenance.

The concrete paving work was undertaken by local residents starting in the first week of July, with technical support and close supervision from departmental staff. The project cost Ks 18 million—Ks 15 million from the VDP and Ks 3 million contributed by local residents. The construction has now been fully completed.—Cho Than Nyunt (DRD)
