Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development, under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, conducted a field inspection yesterday of ongoing road construction projects in Kyaukse Township, Mandalay Region.
The first project involves the concrete paving of the entrance road to Phyaukseikbin Village, measuring 0.402 kilometers long, 3.66 meters wide, and 175 millimeters thick. The construction is being carried out by Winner Myanmar Company, the tender-winning firm, with a budget of Ks 123.09 million provided by Union funds.
The second project is the construction of the Thapyaepin–Pintale–Patta inter-village gravel road, which spans 2.815 kilometers in length, 4.88 meters in width, and 200 millimeters in thickness. This project is being implemented by the Department of Rural Development with Ks 87.23 million funded by the Mandalay Region Government.
During the inspection, officials stressed the importance of quality workmanship and proper maintenance. Once completed, the roads are expected to benefit residents from nine villages in the township.— Thet Maung (Kyaukse)
