One house was burned to ashes in a fire in Magyigon Village in Sagaing Region’s Kawlin Township, the Ministry of Home Affairs reported.
    

The fire broke out in a house of a man named U Kyaw Zin Htoo from Magyigon Village at about 8:42 p.m. on August 19. The flame was completely put out by firefighters from a local fire service station with the use of two fire engines about 25 minutes later.

The fire was attributed to have been started by an overheated electric plug. The home owner is being taken action over fire negligence by the local police.
