Su Private High School held a ceremony to honor outstanding students at the Town Hall in Ward-4, Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region, on 24 August at 9:00 a.m. The event was attended by members of the Township Management and Administration Committee, invited guests, and school staff.

The ceremony began with students singing the Myanmar School Song, followed by an opening speech from Township Education Officer Daw Aye Aye Soe. Headmaster U Han Lin Aung then spoke about the purpose of the event and the school’s exam performance.

Awards were presented to top-performing students, including township- and central-level prize winners. Medals and cash prizes were given to one student with four distinctions, six with three distinctions, eight with two distinctions, and 33 with one distinction.

Out of 163 students from Su Private High School who sat for the 2025 matriculation exam, 153 passed, achieving a 90% pass rate. Across Kanbalu Township, 871 students took the exam, with 661 passing—resulting in a 75.89% pass rate. One student earned five distinctions, seven students got four, 25 received three, 27 earned two, and 157 achieved one distinction.— Aung Win Nyein (Kanbalu)
