Thingangyun, 22 September

A ceremony to honor outstanding students who achieved high scores in the 2024–2025 Academic year matriculation examination was held on 22 September at the Thirithuwanna Pyinnya Hall of Basic Education, Industrial, Agriculture, and Livestock High Schools in Thingangyun Township, Yangon Region.

The event began with a performance of the Myanmar school song by students from Thuwanna Basic Education High School. This was followed by an opening speech from U Zaw Moe Htike, Chairman of the Thingangyun District Management and Administration Committee.

Cash awards and certificates of honor were then presented to high-achieving students and schools with outstanding pass rates.

The ceremony was attended by U Zaw Moe Htike, Chairperson of the District Maternal and Child Welfare Association Daw Darli Myo Oo, Township Management Committee Chairman U Hla Myo, Assistant Director of the District Information and Public Relations Department Daw Zar Zar Tun, District Education Officer Daw Su Su Khi, departmental officials at the district and township levels, invited guests, parents, school heads, teachers, and award-winning students.— Zaw Moe (Thingangyun)
