Meiktila, 23 September

To commemorate the 61st Myanmar Police Force Day, personnel from No. 35 Security Police Division in Meiktila, Mandalay Region, organized a collective blood donation at the Blood Bank of the 200-bed People’s Hospital in Pauk Chaung Ward on 23 September at 10:00 a.m.

The event was led by Deputy Police Captains Myint Htun and Myo Aung, along with Daw Win Su Su San, wife of the Division Commander. Police officers and their families participated in the donation.

Hospital Superintendent Dr. Win Min Thiri presented a certificate of appreciation and offered fried noodles and a nutritious meal to donors. In addition, Deputy Police Captain Myint Htun and Daw Win Su Su San contributed 10 eggs, Royal-D drinks, and a packet of cake each.

A total of 38 donors — 26 police officers and 12 family members — took part in the donation in honor of the anniversary.—Thein Myint Kyaw (Meiktila)
