Power supply to be facilitated to Anyaban village, Htilin township

A meeting between officials from the Township Rural Development Department and local people for power supply to Anyaban village, Htilin township, Gangaw district was held at the monastery of the village yesterday morning.

 

The meeting touched upon on setting up of 29 lamp posts, monitoring methods and implementation of works and other matters.

 

The project is estimated to cost K 26.5 million—23.5 million to be funded by the Rural Development Department and K 3 million to be contributed by local people.

 

In Htilin township, there are 93 villages, all of which have enjoyed the fruits of rural development being undertaken by the government such as electricity, better transport, infrastructure development and sports facilities.—Township IPRD
