Kengtung 24 September
With the aim of being convenient in transportation sector, Kengtung Township Department of Rural Development is planning to upgrade a rural road in Yankyauk village, Kengtung Township, Shan State (East). On September 24, officials from the township department made a preliminary field inspection to upgrade the road into a concrete one.
During the field trip, officials from the Township Department and responsible people inspected the ground situation to conduct the concrete road measuring 350 ft in length, 10 ft in width and six inches in volume and attended to the needs of the village.
The concrete road will be implemented with K 15 million of funds of VDP and K 1.5 million of public contributions with the technical aids of the departmental officials. Once completed, it will provide reliable all-season transportation.
