UNION Minister for the Minis­try 2 of the President’s Office U Ko Ko Hlaing received Mr Jus­tin Brady, Head of Office for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), yesterday at the parlour of the Office of the National Defence and Se­curity Council in Nay Pyi Taw.

Both sides cordially ex­changed views on the UNO­CHA’s humanitarian assistance activities, cooperation between international humanitarian or­ganizations and local organiza­tions, post-disaster recovery efforts, free and fair general election and post-election po­litical landscape in Myanmar.

Officials from the Minis­try 2 of the President’s Office were present at the meeting. — MNA
