            Officials from Kungyangon Township Department of Rural Development inspected the site of concrete road construction in Kyunchaung village in Tawkhayan Anauk village-tract in Kungyangon Township on 26 August.

            Officials from Twante District and Kungyangon Township Departments of Rural Development and engineers inspected the site with members of village development project committee. They then met with village elders and local residents and urged them to meet the set standard within the target date.

The road measuring 456 ft in length, seven ft in width and six inches in volume is being undertaken with K 15 million of funds of VDP and K 2 million of public contributions under the guidance of officials from the department. Now, it has been completed by 40 percent and upon completion, local residents can easily travel to other places in all seasons.
