            With the aim of upgrading transportation sector, Kungyangone Township Department of Rural Development is conducting concrete road construction works in Shwehlay and Painkan villages in Kungyangone Township, Thanlyin District, Yangon Region. On 29 October, officials made a field trip to inspect the construction works in the villages.

            The officials and engineers inspected the road measuring 575 ft in length, eight ft in width and six inches in height with K 15 million of funds of VDP and 10 million of public contributions in Shwehlay village. Then the officials asked the responsible people for the timely completion, meeting the set standard.

            Afterwards, they went to Painkan village to inspect the road construction which is 2500 ft in length, 12 ft in width and six inches in height with funds of regional government and public contributions, urging the responsible people to meet the set standard within the target date.
