A ceremony to donate cash and kind to storm victims was held at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Tanai Township, Kachin State on 4 May.
    

On the occasion, Kachin State Minister for Social Affairs U Nay Win made an opening speech and an official from the Department of Disaster Management under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement explained the purpose of presenting cash and kind. Next, the deputy commissioner and officials from the DDM and the Myanmar Red Cross Society presented money, relief items, and tents to the storm victims.
    

Afterwards, the Kachin State minister and party inspected construction of primary schools being implemented with the Union Budget in the fiscal year 2018-2019.—IPRD
