Rural road being built in Chaungpyagyi village, Pantanaw Township

With the aim of delivering agricultural products to markets, Pantanaw Township Department of Rural Development is implementing a rural road in Chaungpyagyi village, Pantanaw Township, Ayeyawady Region during 2023-2024 FY.

On 25 January, officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the work and called the responsible people from the company for the timely completion, meeting the set standard. The road which is 3500 ft in length, 12 ft in width and nine inches in volume and a box culvert which is five ft in length, 18 ft in width and five ft in height are being conducted with K 116.46 million funded by regional government starting from September, 2023. Now, all have been completed by 80 percent.

Upon completion, agricultural products from 390 acres of farmland in the village will be delivered to the markets with saving time and money. In addition, it will benefit a total of 2000 people from 500 households in the village.
