This morning, the Rural Development Department of Thayarwaddy Township, Thayarwaddy District, Bago Region, carried out a field inspection of rural water supply projects in Ko Pin Yo Village, aiming to provide clean drinking water to local residents.
During the visit, U Nyunt Zaw, Staff Officer of the Rural Development Department for Thayarwaddy District, U Naing Min Tun, Township Officer, and engineering staff inspected the progress of drilling a 300-foot-deep, 4.5-inch-wide tube well, along with associated infrastructure works.
While at the site, the District Officer spoke with villagers about when the project would be finished and listened to their concerns, making sure any needed actions were taken quickly.
The rural water supply project in Ko Pin Yo Village is being implemented with Ks 41.9 million from the Union Grant Fund for the 2025–2026 fiscal year. According to U Naing Min Tun, the project will provide access to clean drinking water for the entire village once completed.— Maung Khaing
