An opening ceremony of Shweminwun Market jointly built by the city development committee and Amayt Nantaw Co was held in Sagaing this morning.
    

The Speaker of regional parliament U Than and regional lawmakers formally opened the new market by cutting a ceremonial ribbon. Next, Regional Chief Minister Dr. Myint Naing unveiled the stone inscription of the market. Then the chairman of the township development committee U Win Naing explained the purpose of construction the new market and the chief minister and concerned officials presented certificates of honour to representatives from private construction company.   

The new market was jointly developed by Sagaing City Development Committee and Amayt Nantaw Co at a cost of more than Ks. 14.1 billion.—IPRD
