No immediate reports of damages or casualties were available following a slight earthquake which was recorded at 7:30 a.m. today, the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology announced.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter Scale, with its epicenter inside Myanmar jolted about 9 miles southeast of Lshio Township, Northern Shan State, at a latitude 22.56°N, and longitude 99.10°E, with depth 10 kilometers and about 95 miles north-northwest of the Kengtung seismological observatory, the DMH said.—DMH
