A special cargo train has delivered the construction materials required for rehabilitation and reconstruction work in Sagaing Region.

The train, carrying a total of 9,720 bags of cement weighing 486 tonnes, arrived at Shwekyatyet Station in Mandalay yesterday morning. Responsible officials inspected the consignment. The cement will be distributed for use in rehabilitation and reconstruction projects across the Region.

In addition, a total of 2,229.63 tonnes of HRB 500 steel bars, 49,000 roofing sheets (4-angle, 0.33 mm) and 19,460 bags of cement weighing 973 tonnes have been delivered for rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts in Mandalay and Sagaing Regions. — MNA/MKKS
