Sri Lanka surpassed the 2-million mark of tourist arrivals for 2024 on Thursday, according to a statement from the office of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath.

During the first 26 days of December, 195,127 tourists arrived in the country.

Sri Lanka targets 3 million tourist arrivals in 2025.
