THE Department of Social Welfare under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettle­ment will offer the school-based domestic voca­tional training from 1 September to 10 October at its schools in ten big cities.

 

This training will take place at its schools located in Yangon, Mandalay, Mawlamyine, Pathein, Toungoo, Myitkyina, Pyapon, Sittway, Ywangan and Dawei cities from 17 February to 28 March 2025.

 

The training will provide sewing courses (women, children and men’s clothing, coats), do­mestic handicraft training (crochet, embroidery, sewing), baking, cooking and floral design train­ing with domestic and foreign experts through technical and practical approaches.

 

There are eight batches every financial year, with each batch taking six weeks. Moreover, schools in Yangon, Mandalay, Mawlamyine and Pathein cities offer other special training as well.
