A Tatmadaw mobile medical team, including paramedics, doctors, and nurses, deployed via the riverine hospital ship “Shwe Puzon” and riverine vessel “Saku”, arrived in Labutta Township yesterday. They were warmly welcomed by officials, residents, teachers, and students.
The mobile medical team based their operations at the Tun Jetty in Labutta and provided healthcare services to 516 locals. Treatment included 268 general illnesses, 24 surgical cases, 31 obstetric cases, 26 paediatric cases, 63 orthopaedic cases, 29 ENT cases, 47 eye cases, and 28 dental cases.
Among them, one patient received general surgery, 13 had x-rays, 29 underwent ultrasound scans, nine had ECG examinations, and 38 received laboratory tests. — MNA/KZL
