The Iranian women’s national football team, which will compete with the Myanmar women’s national football team in the qualifiers for the 2024 Paris Olympics women’s football tournament (Asia Zone), arrived in Yangon on the evening of 2 April.
The Iranian women’s team will stay and take training at the Novotel Yangon Max Hotel, along with the arrangement of the host Myanmar Football Federation.
According to the schedule, Iran and Myanmar will compete in two rounds, and in case of a draw, it will be decided by goal difference, extra time and penalties.
The two teams will face on 5 and 8 April at 4:00 pm Myanmar time at Thuwunna Stadium.
All the qualifiers will be broadcast live on Channel 9 free-to-air channel and Skynet Channel, according to the football authorities. — KZL
