TNLA terrorists set fire to departmental buildings and civilian homes in Hsipaw Township.

Tatmadaw has been conducting counter-terrorism operations to regain control of towns and villages temporarily occupied by TNLA, DPLA, and PDF terrorist groups. Tatmadaw successfully restored control over Nawnghkio on 16 July 2025 and Kyaukme on 1 October 2025, while the government, Tatmadaw, and local people continue joint efforts to rebuild and develop the areas.

Similarly, TNLA and allied terrorist groups temporarily occupied Hsipaw Township and surrounding areas in northern Shan State, carrying out violent acts. To re-establish security, Tatmadaw units entered Hsipaw. Yesterday evening, smoke was observed at the township entrance toll gate, prompting the troops to clear the town.

It was confirmed that TNLA terrorists ruthlessly torched departmental buildings, including the Correctional Department's office, general administration office, land records office, Hsipaw Hotel, and other government facilities, as well as private residences.
